The following are the results from the third day of the Olympic Trials on Wednesday, December 11th, 2019, from Lake Charles, La.

114 Men’s

Anthony Herrera received a walkover against Anthony Olascuaga and Abraham Perez defeated Roscoe Hill.

Herrera will face Perez on Friday with the winner advancing to the finals.

Jose Nieves will receive a walkover tomorrow against Anthony Olascuaga and #1 seed Michael Angeletti will face Roscoe Hill tomorrow, with the losers of those bouts being eliminated from the tournament.

125 Men’s

Bruce Carrington defeated Jonathan Mansour and Rasheim Jefferson defeated Kevin Montano.

Carrington will face Jefferson on Friday with the winner advancing to the finals.

Mansour will face David Navarro and Montano will face Duke Ragan, both bouts occurring tomorrow. The loser of these bouts will be eliminated.

138 Men’s

Keyshawn Davis defeated Harley Mederos and Charlie Sheehy defeated Dalis Kaleiopu.

Davis will face Sheehy on Friday.

Mederos will face Daniel Garcia tomorrow and Kaleiopu will face Ernesto Mercado, tomorrow. The loser of these bouts will be eliminated.

152 Men’s

Delante “Tiger” Johnson continued his winning ways defeating Marques Valle and Kelvin Davis defeated Lavars Carter.

Johnson will face Davis on Friday with the winner advancing to the finals.

Valle will face Freudis Rojas and Carter will face Morris Young tomorrow, the loser of these bouts will be eliminated.

165 Men’s

Troy Isley defeated Kahshad Elliott and Javier Martinez defeated Joseph Hicks.

Isley will face Martinez on Friday with the winner going to the finals. This is one of the marquee matches that most expected to see coming into the Olympic Trials as the two have split wins against each other at the past two national tournaments over the past two years.

Kahshad Elliott will face Francis Hogan tomorrow, and Joseph Hicks will face Antonio Garcia, per usual the losers of these bouts will be eliminated.

178 Men’s

Rahim Gonzales defeated Orville Crooks and Atif Oberlton defeated Chavon Davis.

Gonzales will face Oberlton on Friday with the winner advancing to the finals. This is a rematch of the national tournament final from a year ago, that Gonzales won.

Crooks will face Francis Oran and Davis will face Nasheed Smith tomorrow, the losers of these bouts will be eliminated.

201 Men’s

Darius Fulghum’s underdog story continues as the number eight seed, Fulghum beat Najee Lopez and Jamar Talley defeated Joshua Edwards.

Fulghum and Talley will meet on Friday, the winner advances to the finals.

Lopez will face Devon Young and Edwards will face Brandon Moore tomorrow, the loser of these bouts will be eliminated.

201+ Men’s

Jeremiah Milton defeated #1 seed Luis Alvarado and Antonio Mireles defeated Kenyon Walker.

Milton will face Mireles on Friday, the winner advances to the finals.

Alvarado will face Pryce Taylor tomorrow and Walker will face Domonic Okopie, the loser of these bouts will be eliminated.

112 Women’s

Virginia “Ginny” Fuchs defeated Christina Cruz and Heaven Garcia defeated Mariana Gonzalez.

Fuchs will face Garcia on Friday, a rematch of the national championship bout from a year ago. The winner advances to the finals.

Christina Cruz will face Jazzelle Bobadilla tomorrow and Mariana Gonzalez will face Jasmine Hampton. The losers of these bouts will be eliminated.

125 Women’s

Lupe Gutierrez defeated Iyana “Right Hook Roxy” Verduzco and Andrea Medina defeated #1 seed Yarisel Ramirez.

Gutierrez will face Medina on Friday, the winner will be in the finals. This is a rematch of the Western Qualifier final from March, that took place in Reno, Nevada.

“Right Hook Roxy” will face Melanie Costa tomorrow and Yarisel Ramirez will face Isamary Aquino tomorrow. The loser of these bouts will be eliminated.

132 Women’s

Rashida Ellis defeated Whitney Gomez and Kimberly Carlson defeated Amelia Moore.

Ellis will face Carlson on Friday, the winner will advance to the finals.

Whitney Gomez will face Jennifer Lopez tomorrow and Amelia Moore will face Stacia Suttles, the loser will be eliminated.

152 Women’s

Oshae Jones defeated Mary Spencer and Danyelle Wolf defeated Sharahya Moreu.

Jones and Wolf will face each other on Friday, the two have taken shots at each other over Twitter this past week.

Spencer will face Jill Stafford tomorrow and Sharahya Moreu will face Briana Che, tomorrow. The loser of these bouts will be eliminated.

165 Women’s

Morelle McCane defeated Kendra Reeves and Naomi Graham defeated Alexis Gomez.

McCane and Graham will face each other Friday, the winner will secure a spot in the finals.

Kendra Reeves will face Melody Popravak tomorrow, as well as Alexis Gomez will face Pasene Asuega. The losers of these bouts will be eliminated from the tournament.
