Vazquez vs. Soumaoro, on ProBoxTV – Wednesday

PROBOX TV is back this Wednesday with its monthly card from Tampa, Florida titled, Wednesday Night Fights.

The evening’s main event will see undefeated Mexican, Angel ‘El Chocolatito’ Vazquez (12-0) go toe-to-toe with Canadian-based Guinean Mohamed ‘El bufalo negro’ Soumaoro (12-1) over ten rounds in the lightweight division, with both men eager to impress on the show.

Vazquez stated ahead of the potentially explosive match-up:

“I’m excited to be fighting on PROBOX TV! I know their fans appreciate good action fighters and Mexican warriors. I believe I am both of these things, and I will prove it against Soumaoro on Wednesday night.”

Soumaoro echoed a similar war cry:

“I’m glad to be back on PROBOX TV against another undefeated fighter! He is a good fighter who is going to come forward all night, which excites me because he will leave himself open to getting knocked out!

“I want to steal the show and I’m going to show the PROBOX TV fans that I am ready for titles this year.”

Both men come fresh off the heels of their American debuts, where each of them ripped the zero off an undefeated fighter.

Top Rank charge Omar Rosario (9-0)  will run the gauntlet with Zach Hill (3-3) at super lightweight in the evening’s chief support. And kicking off the televised card will see Kentuckian Demontaze Duncan (8-0, 8KOs) go to battle with Puerto Rican Axl Melendez (5-0, 4KOs) at welterweight.

You can watch ProBoxTV.com ad-free for only $1.99/Month in English and Spanish.
