Tyson Fury stripped of IBF Heavyweight Title
World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was stripped of the IBF title on Tuesday for not making a mandatory defense against Vyacheslav Glazkov. The decision seems a bit strange to say the least as Fury just beat the most dominant champion in recent memory, Wladimir Klitschko, who has a rematch clause to face Klitschko.
The IBF has ordered Glazkov to face Charles Martin for the vacant belt. Martin was scheduled for Saturday showdown against Olympian Dominic Breazeale on NBC, but has withdrawn from the bout to compete for the title.
