HBO today named Peter Nelson the head of the network’s sports department, promoting him to Executive Vice President, HBO Sports ; essentially meaning he will be in control of boxing on HBO for 2016. Nelson, who has been a staff member of HBO Sports since 2011, has been Vice President,
