Zachary Ochoa Scores Stunning 1st RD KO
Top junior welterweight Zachary Ochoa earned a stunning first round knockout over Engelberto Valenzuela by first round knockout on the undercard of Francisco Vargas/Will Tomlinson in San Antonio, Texas. In almost a storybook fashion Ochoa ran across the ring and dropped Valenzuela with the first punch of the fight seemingly causing a halt to the action in a stunning manner. It was a stunning and beautiful moment of boxing one that can also be watched on our Facebook page as it took only 15 seconds for Ochoa to score his victory on Thursday night.
This was an important win for as some had been harsh on his performance at the Barclay’s Center last year on the undercard of Danny Garcia vs. Rod Salka. Ochoa, an ITR Radio alum, has been viewed by our website as one of the top prospects to watch after this performance it appears this may fast track Ochoa to the mainstream. On top of all of the accomplishments is also that Ochoa has a natural following he developed via social media that is not exclusive to boxing
Ochoa is now 10-0 with 5 knockouts.
