Mike Reed decisions Luis Gonzalez in one sided win

Maryland’s own, Mike “Yes Indeed” Reed scored his 15th professional win tonight when he defeated Puerto Rico’s Luis Gonzalez by unanimous decision in an 8 round bout.
Reed, throughout the fight stalked Gonzalez and laid the pressure, backing Gonzalez up the whole fight. For the first 3 rounds Gonzalez seemed to be in the fight, though Reed had the upper hand, Gonzalez fought back and landed a few shots. Once in the 4th, it seemed as if Gonzalez’s had lost his confidence. Reed seemed to hurt Gonzalez mid-way through the round and that seemed to turning point in the fight.
For the next 4 rounds, Gonzalez was peddling away as Reed continued to walk forward. Gonzalez showed enough to stay in the fight, landing a few shots when Reed would get inside but nothing dramatic that showed he really wanted the win.

Until the final round, Gonzalez traded with Reed and went toe to toe but the effort was shown too late as Reed picked up the unanimous decision win to keep his undefeated record.
