Matchroom and Top Rank held a joint press conference at the Barclays Center today to announce a June 27 matchup between unified junior middleweight champions Xander Zayas and Jaron “boots“ Ennis.

Zayas (23-0, 13 ko), just 23 years old is coming off arguably a career best win against Abass Baraou back in January, while Ennis (35-0, 31 ko) has fought just one round against Uisma Lima since his April 2025 welterweight bout with a Eimantas Stanionis.
