Well, the fight we have been waiting for sometime between Miguel Cotto and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is at least begun negotiations with a date to be determined as New York, Texas and Las Vegas all seem to be front runners for landing the fight with, the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV seeming to be the front runner.

The talks which ESPN Deportes has offered extensive updates on have explained that talks between Golden Boy Promotions, Canelo’s promoter, and Roc Nation Sports, Cotto’s promoter have seemingly agreed to a late November date of either November 21st or 28th. The bout seems destined to be on pay-per-view as HBO, the network that will televise the event would like to turn the fight into a major event.
