WBO world lightweight champion Terry Flanagan (29-0, 12 KO) destroyed former ITR Radio guest Diego Magdaleno (28-2, 12 KO) in two rounds on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. Flanagan dropped Magdaleno three times in round two before the referee called an end to the bout as Magdaleno stood idle on the ropes.

In the co-main event,  Liam “Beefy” Smith (21-0, 11 KOs) scored a come from behind knockout win over boxcino junior middleweight winner John Thompson (17-2, 6 KO) to win the vacant WBO world junior middleweight title, that was stripped from Demetrius Andrade, on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. Thompson thoroughly outboxed Smith until the sixth round when Smith began to land. In the seventh, Thompson was unable to with stand after being leveled with a right hand.
