In another upset on a PBC card bantamweight Karim Guerfi (22-3, 6 KOs) scored a ten round unanimous decision over Alejandro “Cobrita” Gonzalez Jr. (25-2-2, 15 KOs) who last fought Carl Frampton, on Tuesday night at the Austin City Music Hall in Austin, Texas. Gonzalez Jr. started similar to the Frampton fight knocking down Guerfi the first round. Though another bad habit seemed to carry over as Gonzalez Jr. seemed to fade quickly as Guerfi outboxed the young fighter for the rest of the bout. The final scores were 97-92, 96-93, 95-94.

On the undercard junior lightweight Mario Barrios (13-0, 7 KOs) scored an eight round unanimous decision over Enrique Tinoco (15-3-2, 11 KOs) with the scores of 78-74 on all three cards. In the opening bout, featherweight Miguel Flores (18-0, 9 KOs) scored a second round KO over Alfred “The Stinging Bee” Tetteh (23-5-1, 20 KOs) that left Tetteh out cold.
