Roy Jones knocks out fan on sanctioned PPV

In one of the weirdest events in modern times, Roy Jones Jr.(63-9, 46 KOs)  knocked out a fan on pay-per-view, Sunday evening at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, Arizona.

The “lucky fan” Vyron Phillips (0-1) was stopped midway through the second round with a body shot and an ambiguous short hook that Jones landed on Phillips that folded him. Phillips got to his feet, but was unable to continue. If Phillips had of won he would of won $ 100,000.

In other results from the card, pro wrestler Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Kurt Angle after rapper Riff Raff interfered in the match. Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen wrestled to a draw with current UFC middleweight Michael Bisping in a jiu-jitsu match fought under Metamoris rules meaning that a submission was the only way you could win the match.
