In one of the more talked about women’s bout in recent years, Heather Hardy (18-0 4KOs) continued her winning ways by defeating Shelly Vincent (18-1 1KO) in a grudge match for the regional version of WBC women’s featherweight title. The bout which served as the headliner for the NBCSN portion of the telecast from Coney Island saw a very competitive fight with Hardy’s size advantage being the slight edge.

The judges scored the bout a majority decision for Hardy with the scores being 99-91, 97-93 and 95-95
