Derrick Easterling fights for title in San Francisco this weekend

The Bay Area’s own Derrick Easterling will fight for the flyweight title at Universal Reality Combat Challenge 29 at the Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco, Ca.

Easterling, who has a very compelling backstory in which at the age of 16 years-old found himself in trouble with the law and in a group home. During his time in the program he met someone who worked at the program who trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu which brought him to the sport that has shaped his life.

Though Easterling’s professional career has been up and down so far, this is the biggest opportunity of his career.
