Julian “Hammer Hands” Rodriguez (15-0 10KOs) is being rumored to fight San Francisco, Ca’s Jonathan Chicas (15-2 7KOs) on March 17th in New York City.

The fight which would be a ‘Solo Boxeo’ card broadcast on UniMas would serve as the main event.

According to BoxRec.com, Rodriguez is fighting Eudy Bernardo, but sources close to the situation who agreed to speak on the grounds of anonymity have said an agreement between Chicas and Rodriguez is either in place or “close to being in place”.

The fight would take place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, the day before Gennady Golovkin versus Daniel Jacobs.
