In a close and evenly contested middleweight bout Martin Murray (35-4-1 16KOs) defeated by way of majority decision game veteran Gabriel Rosado from Echo Arena, Liverpool, Merseyside.

The bout which was a back and forth evenly contested fight for version of the WBA middleweight title, but the world title, saw each man take turns controlling the fight with neither separating themselves from each other.

The judges seemingly disagreed with my assessment as only one of three judges saw it that way.

The judges scored the bout 114-114 with the other two scoring the bout 119-109 and 116-112.
