Anthony Joshua stops Wladimir Klitschko late after hitting the canvas

In what will more then likely be the fight of the year, IBF and WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (19-0 19KOs) defend his belt against longtime heir of the heavyweight division Wladimir Klitschko (64-5 54KOs) as he TKOed the former lineal champion in the 11th round in front of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

In a bout that is already hailed as a modern day masterpiece both men hit the canvas before a winner was decided. Joshua and Klitschko struggled to gain traction until Joshua dropped Klitschko in the fifth round, Klitschko not be outdone returned the favor in the following round hurting Joshua bad. Joshua appeared to be gassed out and finished, but battled through adversity to start strong in the eleventh round only to drop Klitschko multiple times. As Klitschko returned to his feet the second time, the referee waived the bout off.

With such a finish, a rematch is nearly certain.
