Former world champion Argenis Mendez refused to go away as he sent the former prospect Eddie Ramirez into the role of a gatekeeper as Mendez dropped Ramirez multiple times in the main event of a super lightweight bout from Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, Biloxi, Mississippi. Mendez sent Ramirez to the canvas in the second and third round as well as twice in the fifth en route to a wide ten-round decision.

The co-main event saw super featherweight Tugstsogt Nyambayar stop Oscar Escandon in three rounds. The bout was extremely competitive as Escandon dropped Nyambayar in the first round only for Escandon to go down in both the second and third round.
