San Francisco, Ca’s own heavyweight LaRon Mitchell will return after his first career defeat to former sparring partner Rodney Hernandez on November 24th in Atlantic City, New Jersey against unbeaten Russian Sergey Kuzmin.

Kuzmin, who is currently 13-0 with 10 knockouts has a technical draw to tough veteran Amir Mansour as well as fourth-round stoppage of David Price. Mitchell has spent the majority of his career being built in Ontario, Ca as part of Thompson Boxing’s promotional stable.

The bout is a crossroads bout for both fighters as neither are young and a loss is a major setback.

The fight will take place on the undercard of Dmitry Bivol vs. Jean Pascal which will broadcast on HBO.
