Ladarius Miller wins a majority decision as headliner in Las Vegas

Lightweight Ladarius Miller (18-1 5KOs) found his way to victory in a competitive and close 138 lbs catchweight battle with Ricardo Garcia (14-4-1 9KOs) en route to a majority decision at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas on Friday night, as the main event of Mayweather Promotions card.

The judges saw the bout 98-92, 96-94 and 95-95

Miller’s career is at its best point ever as he lost a unanimous decision to Rolando Chinea in 2016, but since beat former 2012 U.S. Olympian Jamel Herring.

Former world title challenger Ronald Gavril (19-3, 15 KOs) dropped his opponent three times en route to a second-round TKO over Antowyan Aikins (13-6-1, 1 KO)

Gavril had previously fought WBC super middleweight champion David Benavidez, twice, losing both.

Super bantamweight Angelo Leo (15-0, 8 KOs) picked up a decision over  Eric Ruiz (17-8-1, 7 KOs), Chico, CA’s women’s flyweight Ava Knight (17-2-4,  5 KOs) won a unanimous decision over Mayela Perez (19-23-4, 10 KOs), junior welterweight Kenny Robles (5-1 2KOs) picked up a four-round decision over Matt Doherty as well as popular Rolando “Rolly” Romero continued his knockout streak as he picked up a second-round TKO over Rondale Hubbert and welterweight Sanjarbek Rakhmanov (11-1-1 5KOs) got a unanimous decision over Jonathan Steele (8-2-1 6KOs)
