2019 Boxing Trainer of the Year: Sean O’Hagan

Sean O’Hagan, the father of Josh Warrington, took Warrington on a terrific year, having his son pull off two upsets defeated heavily acclaimed Lee Selby as well as former world champion Carl Frampton. O’Hagan, who is not a household name is deserving of this as he took a fighter who all, but seemingly doomed coming in the wrong corner and helped be a part of a team that won not one, but two massive fights and now has Warrington in position to get a major fight in 2019.

On top of that Warrington is the current IBF featherweight world champion.

A great feature on Warrington and O’Hagan that can be found on YouTube (link below), the honest truth is despite O’Hagan winning this award, we truly don’t know much about him other than, he helped put together to successful camps for a fighter that came in-shape and ready to win. Though outside of the box, we feel he is very deserving.

Sorry for not a longer speel, but this is all we got.
