Well, this isn’t how the plan was supposed to go as unheralded EBU European super welterweight champion Sergio Garcia simply outclassed Ted Cheeseman, a Matchroom Boxing prospect people had high hopes for at The 02 Arena in Greenwich.

Garcia outboxed Cheeseman, who should heart and a ton of valor, just simply had no plan b beside walking forward. Garcia soundly outpointed the prospect Cheeseman and left him looking very disfigured after the bout as well, as some online made a comparison to Chesseman looking like Chunk from The Goonies,

As usual boxing presents frustration, like always, as one of the three judges cards looked tone deaf as they had the near shutout bout a one point fight, which well, it wasn’t.

The judges saw the bout 119-109, 119-109 and 115-114 all in favor of Garcia. Garcia is well represented in the WBC and could get a shot against Tony Harrison in the near future
