Death of Queen Elizabeth Postpones Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall Mega-Fight

The death of Queen Elizabeth has postponed the one of the biggest cards of the year, including the superfight between Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall, and the Jr. Lightweight unification fight between Mikaela Mayer and Alycia Baumgardner. The event has been rescheduled for October 15th at the O2 Arena in London.

This card will be an iconic moment for women’s boxing, but unfortunately we will have to wait just a few more weeks. In the meantime, read Jack Kelly’s breakdown of this epic night of fights.
