Demontaze “Juicy” Duncan Headlines Tuesday Night Fights In Louisville, KY
Fast-rising and powerful punching welterweight prospect Demontaze “Juicy” Duncan, who has independently amassed a record of 7-0, with 7 KOs will headline a fight card at the historic Henry Clay Ballroom in downtown Louisville, on Tuesday, September 27th.
In homage to the USA network’s Tuesday Night Fights boxing showcase that ran on the USA Network from 1982-1997 promoter, Troy Eskridge choose a school night to feature Duncan as well as the many other top prospects on the card.
“I wanted a night that the fans didn’t have competition for entertainment. Louisville is a festive town and I figured that a Tuesday would be a great opportunity to showcase these fighters. Demontaze Duncan is spectacular and I expect big things from him.” Said Eskridge who has promoted 4 or Demontaze’s first 7 fights.
Also featured on the card is former USA Boxing National Champion Harley Maderos along with 2020 and 2021 National Golden Gloves Champion Abel Gonzalez from Florida via Cuba, making his debut.
The 20-year-old Demontaze “Juicy” Duncan puts his unblemished record on the line against savvy veteran and slick southpaw Tyrone Crawley Jr. from Philadelphia, PA, who is has only lost one professional fight marking a dramatic step-up in competition. For the young fighter from Louisville’s West End that fight fans call “Juicy”, he welcomes the challenge.
“Demontaze has faced some soft competition through his first 7 fights and has easily stopped all of his opponents. I expect Crawley to be well prepared and ready to fight but I anticipate Demontaze will showcase an assortment of skills that not many people have seen from his previous fights.” said Nicholas Bareis who has trained Duncan from the beginning of his amateur career.
