We are 48 hours away from the biggest fight of Devin Haney’s career, yet last week Haney made a slew of fighters from Pittsburg, California’s Lion’s Den Boxing Gym, dreams possible.

Haney sponsored 17 local fighters to compete over the past weekend of May 13th, at a national amateur boxing tournament. Seven of the sponsored fighters made it to the finals, but unforeseen circumstances prevented the competition from completion.

Though Haney never made this public knowledge when told of this information, ITRBoxing.com, took time to let the world know about Haney’s commitment to the youth. This is also the first time a Bay Area boxer has sponsored this many fighters for an amateur boxing event.
