Sacramento, California Light heavyweight Mike Guy (12-4-1, 5 KOs) might just have earned himself a big payday as he beat Dennis “Momma’s Boy” Douglin (22-7, 14 KOs) via a split decision, his second marquee win in a row.

Both Guy and Douglin were cut in the fight, but Guy seemingly stole a couple of rounds based on activity. The judges scored the bout 78-74, 77-75 Guy, 77-75 Douglin.

Earlier this year, Guy defeated Eric Moon in Atlanta, Georgia, as at age 38, Guy is looking as good as he has in quite some time.
