Lucas Browne tests positive for PEDs after winning world title
Heavyweight Lucas Browne who won the WBA heavyweight title by knocking out Ruslan Chagaev in the 10th round after being floored earlier in Grozny, Russia, failed his post-fight drug test and will hopefully be stripped of his title.
The news which was first reported by ESPN.com, explains that the Australian heavyweight tested positive for the banned substance Clenbuterol in a urine test conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA). Clenbuterol is often used by weightlifters during cycling
Browne was next se to face mandatory challenger Fres Oquendo by June, which will now more than likely not happen.
