Jose Felix Jr, Mean Machine win in Studio City
Lightweight contender Jose Felix Jr. (35-1-1, 27 KOs) picked up a third round TKO over Alan Herrera (34-9, 22 KOs) on Friday night at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, California. Felix dropped Herrera in round three, then got the stoppage with his follow up barrage. Felix Jr. is looking for a title shot in his next outing.
Egis “The Mean Machine” Kavaliauskas (15-0, 12 KOs) was given all he could handle against game veteran Cameron Krael (8-12-2, 1 KO). The judges scored the bout 77-75 on all three cards. Krael came on strong to end the bout and rocked Kavaliauskas late in the bout.
Super lightweight Maxim Dadashev (4-0, 3 KOs) outworked Eddie Diaz (2-6-2, 0 KOs) over six one-sided rounds with the scores of 60-54, 60-54, 60-53.
Novato, CA’s Rudy Macedo (3-0 3KOs) picked up a KO win over Hugo Padilla in a television swing bout.
