Junior, we gave you the opportunity to fight @Canelo. Your manager has the contract. Stop tweeting lies, go sign and we'll be on for May 6. https://t.co/GvQIMWdCzG

the prior tweet read as follows
Solo estoy esperando que me manden el contrato para pelear no me lo an hecho llegar. Yo dije si a todo @GoldenBoyBoxing #teamchavezjrmexico

Looks like we might not get that Canelo Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez fight after all as Canelo and Chavez Jr traded barbs over Twitter this afternoon. The Mexican fighters both tweeted in Spanish explaining their case.
Canelo started the incident by saying Chavez Jr. has a contract signed on Canelo’s behalf and that he needs to accept the fight, Chavez Jr. contends he never received such a contract.
Canelo’s promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, jumped in call Chavez Jr. a liar at the end.
What do you think is happening and will this fight come to fruition now that it has gotten seemingly ugly o social media.
