Michael B. Jordan, the man best known for playing Oscar Grant in the critically acclaimed ‘Fruitvale Station’ will once again have Bay Area ties as he plays the son of Apollo Creed, Adonis, who is now being trained by Rocky Balboa. The film will also be directed by Ryan Coogler, who is best known for the aforementioned movie, ‘Fruitvale Station’.

Lineal uncrowned super middleweight champion, Andre Ward, will be featured in the movie though the capacity is not totally clear. As of right now, Creed does not have a definitive release date.
