Adrien Broner is staying active despite his loss to Shawn Porter in June. According to a report from BoxingScene.com, a bout between Adrien Broner-Khabib Allakhverdiev is in the final stages for Premier Boxing Champions card on NBC on Saturday, October 3rd.

The bout would be for WBA junior welterweight title that Jessie Vargas relinquished in order to fight Timothy Bradley. The most bizarre things about that though is both fighters are coming off loses as Broner lost to Porter and Allakhverdiev lost the belt last year to Jessie Vargas.

The bout at this time has new venue set in place.
