Fontanez to headline September 18th LA Fight Club

In a special edition of LA Fight Club at the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles on September 18, Golden Boy Promotions will present a card featuring Puerto Rican Jeffrey Fontanez (16-1, 12 KOs) against Mexican banger Marvin “Cachorro” Quintero (27-6, 23 KOs) in a 10-round lightweight main event. LA Fight Club will be broadcast live nationally on Estrella TV .

In the co-main event, scheduled for eight rounds, local super featherweight Carlos “The Solution” Morales (11-1-3, 5 KOs) will put his nine-fight winning streak on the line against a yet-to-be-named opponent and opening up the telecast, fan favorite Angeleno Oscar Negrete (11-0, 3 KOs) will take on Jose “Hollywood” Estrella (14-7-1, 10 KOs) in an eight-round super bantamweight bout.

In non-televised bouts, local undefeated fighter Emilio Sanchez (9-0, 6 KOs) of Los Angeles will battle Juan Sandoval (7-16-1, 4 KOs) of San Bernardino, Calif. in a six-round super bantamweight bout, and D’Mitrius Ballard (9-0, 7 KOs) of Temple Hill, Maryland, will make his debut appearance at LA Fight Club in an eight-round super middleweight bout against a to-be-determined opponent.
