Stevenson, Spence make short work of foes on Spike
WBC light heavyweight world champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson steamrolled Tommy “Kryptonite” Karpency earning a third round knockout on Friday night at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto. Stevenson nearly ended the bout by dropping Karpency at the end of round two with a straight left and floored him again to start round three that ended the bout.
Undefeated welterweight rising star and 2012 U.S. Olympian Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. remain unbeaten when he stopped Chris “The Heat” van Heerden in round eight. Spence dropped van Heerden twice in round seven as Spence’s investment into van Heerden’s body seemed to be a solid investment, the following round, the eighth, the referee stopped the bout.
Undefeated welterweight Prichard “Digget” Colon (scored a fourth round TKO over former world champion Vivian Harris (32-11-2, 19 KOs). In other news Dillon “Big Country” Carman defeated 51 year-old Donovan “Razor” Ruddock who was attempting to make a comeback.
