Selby, McDonnell, Macklin and Groves win in undercard action
IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby (23-1, 8 KOs) survived a second round knockdown to beat a rugged Eric “The Outlaw” Hunter (21-4, 11 KOs) on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, England. Hunter who sent Selby to the canvas with a left hook in round two seemed befuddled from that point on as he might of been looking for one hard power shot, but mainly gave away rounds. The judges saw the bout Selby 115-111, 116-110, 116-110 decision.

WBA bantamweight world Jamie McDonnell (28-2-1, 13 KOs) scored a ninth round KO over game late replacement Fernando Vargas (29-10-3, 20 KOs). McDonnell dominated the bout completely until Vargas was forced to take a knee. The win gives McDonnell his fourth title defense.
Super middleweight “Saint” George Groves (23-3, 18 KOs) scored a fourth round KO over David Brophy (16-1-1, 1 KO), a fighter no one had heard of.
Also earlier in the evening, middleweight Matthew Macklin (35-6, 22 KOs) outlasted Brian Rose (28-4-1, 8 KOs) as he on the winning side of a 12-round majority decision win. The judges saw the bout Scores were 113-113 and 115-111, 115-111 with the two deciding cards for Macklin
