Errol Spence Jr says he is ready for Kell Brook
After stopping veteran boxer, Chris Algieri, Errol Spence Jr. took the podium at the press conference after high praise from promoter, Lou DiBella, to explain his desire to fight Kell Brook.
“I am next up to fight Kell Brook and that’s what I am looking for and if I fight him, I will win.”
Spence Jr. is now the number one contender for IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook after his fifth round stoppage of Algieri. Brook who dethroned Shawn Porter for the the world title in Carson, CA has spent his whole title reign overseas in the United Kingdom meaning Spence Jr. would have to his passport ready in order to make a go at the title.
“If he comes here, I’ll fight him here. If I have to go over there, it is what is. I am not scared of Kell Brook and I am prepared to go to England and bring the title back.”
