Adam Lopez fights to draw atop ShoBox card

Highly ranked super bantamweight Adam Lopez (15-0-1, 7 KOs) and Roman Reynoso (18-1-2, 7 KOs) battled to a ten round draw on Friday night at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Connecticut. In a decent action fight that saw the veteran Reynoso give Lopez a lot of fights also saw Lopez hurt Reynoso late, but unable to stop him. The judges saw the bout 96-94 Lopez, 97-93 Reynoso and 95-95.

Super middleweight  Jerry Odom (14-2-1, 13 KOs) scored a fantastic third round one-punch KO against Julius “The Chef” Jackson (19-2, 15 KOs). A crushing right hand laid out Jackson, Odom was a last minute replacement.

Lightweight Rolando Chinea (13-1-1, 6 KOs) picked up an eight round split decision decision over O’Shaquie Foster (10-2, 7 KOs). Scores were 79-73, 78-74 Chinea, 77=75 for Foster.

The card started with Brent Venegas III (1-0, 1 KO) of Sacramento, but fighting out of Los Gallos Boxing Academy brutally stopping Christian Foster (0-1) in their professional debuts at lightweight. Venegas knocked down Foster twice in the first round and once in the second for the technical knockout.
