In an odd choice for a pay-per-view fight, Miguel Cotto, who has been inactive since losing to Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will take on James Kirkland at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas.

The bout will be broadcast on HBO pay-per-view of all things, which seemingly makes no sense since this not a juicy match-up to say the least.

The official announcement should come next week per press conference.
