Super flyweight Bruno Escalante, who lives and trains in the Bay Area has left home to spar one of the pound-for-pound fighters in the world, Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez.

Escalante posted a photo on his Instagram late Thursday evening showing himself next to the famed fighter.

Escalante earlier this week posted a video hitting mitts with Freddie Roach at Wild Card Boxing Gym in Los Angeles, CA, but trains at the SNAC Gym in San Carlos, CA with Mike Bazzel.
