One of the best fights of the year was announced this week and might just be flying under the radar for now as Junior welterweight Regis Prograis (19-0, 16 KOs) and Joel Diaz Jr. (23-0, 19 KOs) will battle for Prograis’ NABF title in the 10-round main event from the Turning Stone Stone Event Center in Verona, New York on June 9th as part of “ShoBox: The New Generation”.

Prograis has been featured in his last three outings on ShoBox and is highly ranked prospect. Joel Diaz Jr. was a once heralded prospect, who went through bouts of inactivity and now is fighting at two weight classes higher then the weight class he first debuted at.
