Sacramento, CA’s Xavier Martinez (8-0 4KOs) picked up his first title of his young career as he defeated fellow undefeated fighter Prince Smalls (11-1-1 4KOs) to claim the Global Boxing Organization featherweight title as he won it on Tuesday night in Las Vegas, Nevada which was broadcast nationally on FS1.

Martinez, who trains with famed trainer Ray Woods dominated the action from start to finish leaving no case for Smalls to say he won the bout with a seventh round knockdown added for good measure as well.

The judges scored the bout 80-71 on all three cards.

Martinez is currently signed to Floyd Mayweather’s Mayweather Promotions
