Karim Mayfield headlines San Francisco card April 7th

San Francisco, CA Welterweight and promoter, Karim “Hard Hitta” Mayfield will return in his second promotional event in San Francisco, CA at the Fairmont Hotel as Hard Hitta Promotions along with Humboldt Boxing in association with Roy Engelbrecht will return with the aforementioned Mayfield headlining the card at San Francisco’s most luxurious hotel.

Mayfield (20-4-1 11KOs) will fight Gaku Takahashi (15-8-1 7KOs) in an eight round main event with potentially a regional title on the line. Mayfield, a formidable foe for anyone in the division has spent a majority of his career being avoided as a promoter, he hopes to change this and is facing a game veteran in Gaku Takahashi, who moved from Japan to Los Angeles, CA to train at the Wild Card Boxing Gym in which he has pulled off multiple upsets including defeating John Hayes.

The co-main event will feature San Francisco, CA’s Ricardo Pinell (15-3-1 ) taking on Enrique Gallegos (7-6-1) in a six-round middleweight bout. Also featured on the card will be San Francisco, CA lightweight Willie Shaw (5-0 4KOs) will face Niko McFarland (1-4-1), lightweight Lennard Davis (1-1-3) who moved from Oakland to Petaluma to train with Brian Russell, father of Mike Russell, will face David Cruz Riveria (0-2), cruiserweight Andres Salas (1-0 1KO) will face Ignacio Zambrano (1-2) and R.J. Magayanes will make his pro debut against Shawn Harwood (0-2).
