Featherweight Emilio Sanchez came back with a vengeance after his first career loss to Eugene Lagos earlier this year as he defeated Christopher Martin in the main event of a televised card on Estrella TV from the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

The bout was all Emilio Sanchez who applied pressure on Martin and even dropped him in the third round. This was the first bout for Sanchez with Joel Diaz, the famed trainer from Indio, Ca.

The bout was called to a halt in the fifth round when Martin was unresponsive to a flurry of punches from Sanchez.

Lightweight Hector Tanajara Jr. (15-0 5KOs) picked up an eight-round decision over Emmanuel Morales (7-3 4KOs) in the co-main event. The performance was mixed as Tanajara Jr. won every round and started strong, but roughhouse tactics from Morales seemed to tire out Tanajara Jr, who found himself fighting in the pocket for last three rounds despite a major reach advantage from Tanajara Jr. Tanajara needs to improve on the inside.

The judges saw it a shutout 80-72 on all three cards.
