Gabriel Flores Jr gets stunning KO win in Stockotn, CA

Bluechip Stockton, California lightweight picked up a highlight reel one-punch KO over Eduardo Reis in his first fight in the Stockton Arena in Stockton, California. The left hook left landed and put Reis to sleep for a solid minute before he could get to his feet.

IBF light heavyweight world champion Artur Beterbiev defeated Radivoje “Hot Rod” Kalajdzic by way of fifth-round stoppage. Kalajdzic was dropped in the third round and stopped standing in the fifth.

IBF super flyweight world champion Jerwin Ancajas made his seventh world title defense against Ryuichi Funai stopping him with a just second into the seventh round. The bout started close, but Ancajas was deadly accurate with his left hand, and was far too much for Funai.

Flyweight Jesus Godinez picked up a split decision win over undefeated Stockton, Ca Marco Arroyo by a split decision. Godinez dropped Arroyo in the second round.

Cruiserweight Blake “The Beast” McKernan picked up a unanimous decision over Joey Montoya in McKernan’s first ever career eight-round bout. The story of the fight was McKernan fighting off his back foot as well as referee Dan Stell and Joey Montoya verbally jabbing one and another in the ring, ending with Montoya losing a point in round six.

Local Stockton, California fighter Quillisto “Kilo the Kid” Madera picked up a one-sided dominant six-round decision over Osbaldo Gonzalez in front his local fans.

Super bantamweight Vislan Dalkhaev was tested having to get six solid rounds in to get a unanimous decision over Vincent Jennings. Dalkhaev is trained by Marc Ramsay, the coach of Artur Beterbiev. The scores were 59-55×2 and 60-54.

Recently signed Top Rank welterweight Brian Mendoza showed signs of jitters on the big stages in the early bit against Carlos Rodriguez until a massive left hook beat Rodriguez’s hook that knocked out Rodriguez, cold at 1:45 of the second round.

Former world title challenger Felix Valera made short work of Mario Aguilar in his Top Rank debut, stopping him standing at 2:29 of the fourth round. Valera’s lone career losses have come to the best in his division in world champion Dmitry Bivol and Sullivan Barrera.
