Webster-Clarkson Fight To Draw, Hernandez wins split over Coley
The first bout with a live-crowd occurred at Mississippi Coast Convention Center in Biloxi, Mississippi, as 1,000 fans were able to attend with a warning of “enter at your own risk was placed upon the event.”
In the main event, cruiserweights DeShon Webster (12-3-3, 6 KOs) and Samuel Clarkson (22-6-1, 15 KOs) battled to a ten-round majority draw. The scores were 95-95, 95-95, and 96-94, with the fighter who got the edge not declared. The regional belt that was on the line for this bout, remains vacant.
Popular middleweight Aaron Coley (15-3-1, 7KOs) lost a close split decision to Vladimir Hernandez (11-4, 6KOs), the same man who defeated former Top Rank Inc prospect Daniel Valdivia, two times. The scores were 96-94 two times for Hernandez and one time for Coley with an identical score.
Super featherweight Jeremy Hill (12-0, 7 KOs) won an eight-round unanimous decision over Xavier Wilson (11-2-1, 1 KO). The scores were77-74, 78-73, 77-76.
Heavily touted prospect Lorenzo “Truck” Simpson won his bout via knockout as shown above.
A bout between Las Vegas’ Ryan “Stone” Allen and Modesto, Ca’s Michael Gaxiola never happened, and no official reason was given for calling off the bout.
