Cris Reyes stops Oakland’s Lennard Davis in Washington
Washington state welterweight Cris Reyes (7-0, 6 KOs) picked up his sixth straight knockout win, stopping Lennard Davis (4-2-5, 3 KOs) of Oakland, Ca, in the first round on Saturday night at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington, which was promoted by Brian Halquist Productions and the match was made by Andy Nance.
Reyes caught Davis early in the first round and rocked him. Davis went down, but tried to keep exchanging, but was stopped later in the round.
Davis had fought last Saturday in Mexico, and on social media his team blame the weight cut for the loss.
