Elegele and Baker pull off upsets on Bounce TV
Welterweight Joseph Elegele (16-2, 11 KOs) upset Phil Lo Greco (27-2, 15 KOs) on Sunday night at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland, Florida. In a fight in which both men stood toe-to-toe and traded Elegele pulled off a solid victory. The judges saw the bout 97-95, 96-94, 96-94 all for Joseph Elegele.
Light heavyweight Craig Baker (17-1, 13 KOs) did it again as he earned an eighth round knockout over previously unbeaten prospect Steve Lovett (15-1, 12 KOs). Lovett dropped Baker with a left hook in round four, but then saw his luck change in the eighth as he was stopped with three seconds left in the round.
In a middleweight swing bout, Dauren Yeleussinov (5-0-1, 4 KOs) and Devaun Lee (7-2-1, 3 KOs) battled to an eight round draw. The judges saw the fight all over the place as they scored it 79-73 Yeleussinov, 78-74 Lee, and 76-76 making the fight a draw.
