Canelo-Kirkland nets 2.2 million viewers

Well Canelo Alvarez-James Kirkland was quite the success as the event sold 31,000 tickets at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas on May 9th.  The average television veiwership was 2,146,000 and peaked at 2,296,000. This was the first time Canelo headlined a HBO card in his career.
