In a press conference held today Top Rank Promotions announced that Tim Bradley will take on Jessie Vargas for the vacant WBO welterweight title that Floyd Mayweather vacated after beating Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd.

Both camps per usual in a press conference offered no juicy tidbits to gossip over as both camps remained respectful and polite.

“I’m nervous!” Bradley stated in a honest moment. Bradley equated Vargas to a young version of himself as he remembered what it was like being undefeated and hungry to prove yourself at the top level and win a world title.

The fight will take place at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA on June 27th. Tickets are available tomorrow starting a $25 and going all the way up to $175
