Boxcino winner and world champion contender Willie “The Mongoose” Monroe Jr. will return after a year layoff  as he faces another boxcino winner in John Thompson, who like himself also contended for a world title. The bout which will take place at the Turning Stone Casino and Resort in Verona, New York that is headlined by Ruslan Provodnikov versus John Molina Jr.

Monroe Jr will be moving down to junior middleweight for this bout.
