Sacramento, CA’s Guy Robb will take on Miguel Marriaga in Fallon, Nevada as he battles to be the #1 contender for Oscar Valdez’s WBO featherweight title at the Fallon Convention Center on August 27th.

Robb, a hard-punching featherweight who has been climbing the ranks for sometime is getting the chance of a lifetime to fight for contendership for a world title.

Marriaga, on the other hand, is looking for redemption after failing to achieve his goals of being a world champion when he fought at the “at-the time champion” Nicholas Walters in an HBO main event.

The undercard features light flyweight Oscar Vasquez taking on Janiel Rivera for the NABF light flyweight title and lightweight Jose Felix Jr facing Robert Frankel to round out the televised UniMas card.

The remaining bouts are as follows bantamweight Santos Vasquez taking on Basyzbek Baratov, bantamweight Alec McGee facing Sergio Lopez, Sacramento, CA’s Pedro Moreno facing Gregorio Herrera, Sacramento, CA cruiserweight Blake McKernan taking on Kendrick Halloway with featherweight Jose Gonzalez taking on Gelacio Cruz.
