FLOYD MAYWEATHER MAKES MMA DEBUT IN JAPAN DECEMBER 31ST

WTF?

Undefeated and future hall-of-famer Floyd Mayweather will make his MMA debut against an undefeated fighter Tenshin Nasukawa on December 31st at the famed Saitama Super Arena.

The news is a lot to unpack as Mayweather has been retired seemingly since fighting Andre Berto in September of 2015 with a tune-up novelty fight between himself and Conor McGregor last year that was a rating success.

Mayweather who has stated that he would like to face Khabib Nurmagomedov, the UFC lightweight world champion, in a boxing match will now step into RIZIN FC’s ring for his much-awaited MMA debut.

The bout is being dubbed as a ‘Super Challenge’ bout, but no clarification or explanation as to what that means has been provided for now. The weight and rules have not been made public to the media.

I am not really sure what to expect, what about you?
